Usage:

The Pyrocool TS  ECO cartridge of solid wetting agent is designed to extinguish class A fires. It can be used with both fresh and salt water.

The water flowing through the mixing tube washes the cartridge and dissolves the active substances contained therein. Treated water has better wettability and reduced surface tension. As a result, it penetrates the depth of the burning material and accelerates the extinguishing and cooling effect.

Solid wetting agent Aqua Eco should be used to extinguish fires:

- apartments, cellars, shops, warehouses

- production and operating areas

- forest and grassland

- stacks, haylofts, pallets

- landfills, heaps, peat bogs

- agricultural forces and sawmills

- coal and coke, dust, etc.

Cartridge yield depends on the extinguishing water temperature. As the water temperature rises, the cartridge yield increases slightly.

At a water temperature of 20 ° C and a pressure of 6 bar, the yield of the cartridge is about 1500 - 2000 litres.

Protection of health and environment:

The Pyrocool TS ECO wetting agent concentrate in solid form is not classified as a hazardous mixture. No adverse health or environmental effects have been observed for 20 years of practice. The product is very biodegradable.

Instructions for use:

The cartridge must be unpacked and inserted into the tube strainer. The strainer prevents clogging of the system with any debris from the already wetted cartridge. The water passing through the mixing tube dissolves the wetting cartridge .

By using the Pyrocool TS ECO cartridge, a relatively linear intensity of mixing of the active substances is achieved. Only at the end of the cartridge use the yield decreases and must be replaced. With the POK QST mixer, the dissolved cartridge can be viewed through a transparent tube. Otherwise, the fireman orientates by the intensity of foaming of the extinguishing solution.

Storage and maintenance:

The cartridges are stored in their original packaging in a dry place. Typically, 12 cartridges are present in the carton, each in a plastic case. There are separators between each floor. When storing cartridges on the intervention vehicle, make sure that they are not affected by water.
